Thanks for visiting our blog. We’re puttin’ down roots — spiritually, relationally, and physically.
- Spiritually — Being rooted and grounded in the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:14-19), and trusting in the Lord for all things (Jeremiah 17:7-8).
- Relationally — Settling down and starting a family, Lord willing.
- Physically — Remodeling our first home and learning to garden.
Meet Dan McCurley
I have been married to the most amazing girl for a little over a year, and I am really excited to settle down and raise a family. I am a web designer and I enjoy working in the creative marketing industry. I also like to play piano and lead worship at church. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, swimming, hanging out with friends, reading, listening to music, and making art. However, most of my spare time in the near future will be spent fixing up our new (old) house! I love Jesus and desire to live my life in a way that honors Him.
Meet Sarah McCurley
I married my best friend on March 1, 2008. We are madly in love and are so excited to be putting down roots together! I love being a wife and can’t wait to someday be a mom. Some other things I enjoy doing in my spare time are spending time with people, laughing, cooking, baking, decorating on a budget, reading, learning to sew, organizing, taking fun trips with my hubby, and (once we are all settled in our new house) gardening! I have been blessed to work at Phoenix Seminary for the last six years as the faculty assistant, and thoroughly enjoy what I do and everyone I get to work with. And last but certainly not least, I’m passionate about Jesus and the grace that He gives!
